CHICAGO — A 21-year-old man is dead after he was shot in North Lawndale Tuesday afternoon.
The incident occurred in the 3900 block of West Grenshaw Street about 1:30 p.m., police said.
After being shot in his abdomen, the victim was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition.
Darrien Jordan, of the 3900 block of West Grenshaw in North Lawndale was pronounced dead at 4 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
