CHICAGO — A man was shot multiple times in South Chicago Saturday afternoon, police said.
The man, 25, was shot in the 8500 block of South Marquette Avenue about 4:15 p.m., said Officer Stacey Cooper, a police spokeswoman.
He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition, she said.
Area South detectives are investigating the shooting.
