CHICAGO — Two people were wounded in separate shootings on the North and South sides since Friday night.

About 1 a.m. Saturday, a 21-year-old woman was walking with a group in the 2000 block of West 68th Street when shots were fired from a passing black car, said Officer Jose Estrada, a police spokesman.

The woman was taken by a friend to Holy Cross Hospital after she was shot in her foot.

In a separate shooting, in Albany Park, a 21-year-old man was wounded after someone fired shots at him in the 4400 block of North Sawyer Avenue about 10:45 p.m., Estrada said.

The victim was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center where he is in stable condition.
