CHICAGO — Police say a man is stealing cologne from stores in the Loop — and threatening security with a gun when confronted.

The incidents have happened twice in May and once in March in the 0-100 block of North State Street, police said.

Police said a man takes bottles of cologne without paying. When store security confronts the man, he threatens to use a weapon against them, including a gun, a knife or Mace. He then runs away.
