Things to Do in Lincoln Park and Old Town Wednesday

Locally Sourced at Lincoln Park Zoo, 2201 N. Stockton Drive, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Head to Cafe Brauer for live music by Colbie Maddox, locally farmed produce, specials on locally brewed drinks from Lagunitas Brewing Company and works from a local artist.

Beer Academy at Goose Island, 1800 N. Clybourn Ave., 6:30 p.m.

On the last Wednesday of every month join Goose Island brewers for a small lecture on different beer themes. This month's theme is English beers. Tickets are $25 and include beer samples from a variety of craft breweries. Call 312-915-0071 to RSVP.

MO at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., 9 p.m.

The 23-year-old Danish songstress also known as Karen Marie Orsted will perform along with Erik Hassle for an 18-and-over show for $12.

Twilight Safari at Lincoln Park Zoo, 2201 N. Stockton Drive, 6-7:30 p.m.

Join one of Lincoln Park Zoo's horticulturist or animal experts for a stroll through the zoo at twilight. Each monthly safari will focus on a different section of the zoo. Wednesday meet at the East Gate and be prepared to explore the Main Mall, the Kovler Lion House and the Kovler Sea Lion Pool. Tickets for the safari are $13 for those 16 and older, $10 for members.
