CHICAGO — A University Village man drove his car through the front door of a hospital and pointed a gun at multiple people Wednesday morning, police said.

Nikki Donisi, 35, of the 1200 block of West Lexington Street, is due in court Friday after being identified as the driver who drove through the front door of RML Specialty Hospital in East Garfield Park.

Prior to driving the car into the building at 3435 W. Van Buren St. at 10:40 a.m., Donisi was involved in an argument with his 25-year-old girlfriend, police said.

During that argument he pointed a gun at another woman, 30, before driving through the hospital doors.

Donisi then pointed a gun at a security officer before fleeing the scene. No one was injured in the incident.

Donisi faces three felony charges: unlawful use of a weapon, aggravated assault of a peace officer and knowingly causing damage to property.

He was also charged with misdemeanor counts of aggravated assault and having a gun without a valid license.
