CHICAGO — Four people were injured early Wednesday after a Porsche ran a red light and slammed into a taxi Downtown.
The Porsche was heading north in the 400 block of South Michigan Avenue when it ran a light and struck a taxi crossing the intersection about 2:30 a.m., said Officer Hector Alfaro, a police spokesman.
Both the 28-year-old man driving the Porsche and the taxi driver were taken to Stroger Hospital. The cab's two passengers, a 32-year-old man and a 62-year-old woman, were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
Police wouldn't comment on the nature of the injuries, but said none were life-threatening.
Charges are pending.
