CHICAGO — Police are warning Near West Side residents to be cautious following a series of armed robberies this month.
During each of the attacks, two men walked up to the victims, pulled a gun and demanded property, police said.
The incidents happened:
• in the 1700 block of West Grand Avenue about 4:10 p.m. on May 1.
• in the 3100 block of West Warren Boulevard about 9:25 p.m. on May 6.
• and in the 2400 block of West Grand Avenue about 2:35 p.m. on Tuesday.
Victims described the attackers as 20- to 28-year-old black men who could be between five-foot-six and six-foot-two and weigh 160-180 pounds.
