CHICAGO — A 15-year-old boy has died after he was shot in Bronzeville Sunday afternoon.
Just after 3 p.m., the boy was shot in his stomach and back during a possible drive-by in the 4600 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue, police said.
Aaron Rushing, who lived in the 1100 block East 47th Street, was taken in critical condition to Comer Children's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:11 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
