CHICAGO — A man was found dead in an Austin alley Friday morning, police said.
Police are calling the case a homicide investigation.
The man, identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office as Gabriel Rios, 38, was found in the 5100 block of West Concord Place at 4:50 a.m.
Rios, of the 5300 block of West Bloomingdale Avenue, was pronounced dead at 5:12 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
Area North detectives are investigating the homicide, police said.
