CHICAGO — A teenage boy and a man were wounded Wednesday night in shootings on the South Side.

In Auburn Gresham, a 26-year-old man was in the 7700 block of South Seeley Avenue when he "heard shots and felt pain" about 10:30 p.m., said Officer Hector Alfaro, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was shot in the leg and took himself to Saint Bernard Hospital, where he was listed in good condition.

About an hour earlier in West Englewood, a 17-year-old boy was shot in the right arm and back, Alfaro said. The teen was walking in the 6400 block of South Paulina Street when a gunman walked up and opened fire about 9:20 p.m.

The teen was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition  stabilized.

No one was in custody for either shooting.
