The Haxan Cloak at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., 9 p.m.

The Haxan Cloak released his debut self-titled project in 2011 blending malevolent strings, junkyard found sounds and primitive percussion. After two years in London, multi-instrumentalist Bobby Krlic returns with a sound strongly influenced by his electronic influences, meshing serrated beats and cavernous sub-bass with a minimalist approach. Tickets to the 21-and-older show are $13 in advance or $15 at the door.

Harmonica Dunn presents Chicago Songwriter Alliance No. 14 at the Tonic Room, 2447 N. Halsted Ave., 8 p.m.

Performers include Antony Ablan, Donnie Biggins, Andrew Francis, Peter Manhart (of Molehill), Kory Quinn, Brad Brubaker, Steven Leaf, Brice Woodall, Julia Klee and DJ Cotton Fantasy. The 21-and-over show is free.

Green City Market, 1750 N. Clark St., 7 a.m.-1 p.m.

Check out the 10 new vendors at the outdoor market with more than 60 vendors. Wednesday's chef demonstration features Jenna Crile of the Owen and Engine from 10:30-11:30 a.m. The market will be open from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays through Oct. 25.
