Wine Down Wednesday at Drop Sounds and Spirits, 1909 N. Lincoln Ave., 8 p.m.

Green City Market, 1750 N. Clark St., 7 a.m.

The farmers market moved outside for the first time Saturday with 67 vendors including 10 new ones. A chef demonstration from Paul Virant will take place from 10:30-11:30 a.m. The market will be open from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays through Oct. 25.

Lesbianography: Lesbians and Sex at the Chicago History Museum, 1601 N. Clark St., 5:30 p.m.

Join Juana Maria Rodriguez and LaMonda Horton-Stallings for a provocative conversation discussing gender borders, forbidden fantasies, navigating sexual communities and the intersections of race, power and "queer desire." A cocktail reception with music by DJ Lady D will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the discussion begins at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $20, $15 for members or students.
