Boys, 14 and 17, Among Three Wounded in East Garfield Park Shooting

CHICAGO — Three people, including boys ages 14 and 17, were shot in a Wednesday afternoon incident in East Garfield Park, police said.

The shooting occurred at 3:06 p.m. in the 2800 block of West Flournoy Street, according to Officer Stacey Cooper, a police spokeswoman.

The 14-year-old was shot in his left knee and the 17-year-old was shot in his left leg.

A 26-year-old man was also shot, though police couldn't say where on his body he was shot.

All three were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.
