PILSEN — Pornography is coming to Thalia Hall.

Actually, animal pornography.

Actor/director Isabella Rossellini will perform her one woman show, "Green Porno," at Pilsen's Thalia Hall on Oct. 3. Tickets for the show went on sale Saturday.

Based on three short films Rossellini made for the Sundance Channel, Green Porno looks at mating and sex in the animal and insect world, with a focus on the bizarre. In a New York version of the show, she dressed in goofy costumes and spoke about her findings, and occassionally showed a clip from the films.

"I have always loved animals. I am particularly fascinated by the diversity in nature. My family knows it well. Since I was a little girl I brought home all kinds of stray cats and dogs, but also worms, frogs, insects and read a great deal of books about animals and took many biology courses at the University," Rossellini says in a forward about the show.

She goes on to say that she was initially encouraged to make the films by actor-filmmaker Robert Redford.

Tickets start at $45 and are available on Ticketweb.
