CHICAGO — The FBI is investigating a bank robbery in Wicker Park Friday afternoon.
About 3:35, a woman walked into the North Community Bank at 1555 N. Damen Ave., and demanded money, police said. The teller complied, and the suspect left with an undetermined amount of cash.
The FBI said the woman implied she had a weapon, and wore wires around her waist.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic woman, standing about 5-foot-5, in her 20s to early 30s, with a tattoo on her neck. She carried a backpack.
The FBI is offering a reward for her capture. Anyone with information should call 312-421-6700.
