International Voices Project at Victory Gardens Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Ave., 7 p.m.

Swing by Victory Gardens for the second night of the International Voices Project, which features works by playwrights outside the English-speaking world. Tuesday's play is called "Man Without Purpose" and will be followed by a free reception with wine and appetizers. Tickets are free and donations are welcome.

Ronnie Hicks Blues Band at Kingston Mines, 2548 N. Halsted St., 8 p.m.

Ronnie Hicks Blues Band and Michael Wheeler Blues Band hit the stage at the Chicago Blues Center. Tickets for the 21-and-over show are $12.

Money Smart Week at Lincoln Park Library, 1150 W. Fullerton Ave., 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Head to the library for a free seminar on money management. As part of "Money Smart Week," the seminar offers a discussion on retirement planning needs from midlife to retirement age. The event is free.
