Monday's Roundtable Jam at Tonic Room, 2447 N. Halsted St., 10 p.m.

Musicians, singers and spoken word artists are all invited to this open mic night featuring Carl "Mojo" Kennedy on keys, Dan "Flava" Kristan on the bass, Anthony "Golden Boy" Bracco on guitar and Robert Dicke "Doozem" on the drums. The free event occurs every Monday.

International Voice's Project at Victory Gardens Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Ave., 7 p.m.

Minimal sets, lighting and costumes are used as the cast performs the works of International playwrights in a series of concert readings allowing the audience to focus on voice, ideas and language. Each performance is followed by a discussion with the audience. After the discussion meet the cast and enjoy wine and appetizers at the free reception. The event is free but donations are welcome.
