CHICAGO — A Chicago Lawn man was charged with attacking a 14-month-old girl, leaving her with a brain injury, police said.
Richard Martin, 22, of the 7200 block of South Campbell Avenue, is due in court Friday on a felony aggravated battery charge.
He was arrested Tuesday night after he injured the girl at a home in his block at 9 p.m. Monday, according to police. The girl remains hospitalized at Mount Sinai Hospital with a brain injury.
