CHICAGO — A 31-year-old Englewood man was killed early Friday morning in a Bridgeport car crash.
Rashan Rogers, of the 7200 block of South Morgan Street, was driving a 2003 Pontiac Aztec southbound on Senour Street about 2:50 a.m. when he struck an unoccupied 2009 Honda Accord, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a police spokeswoman.
Rogers continued driving southbound and hit a concrete barrier on Archer Avenue.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3:30 a.m., the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said.
Pacheco said alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash. The Major Accidents unit is investigating the crash, she said.
No one else was injured. It's unclear if Rogers was the only occupant of the vehicle.
