CHICAGO — A duo is robbing food delivery drivers at gunpoint in the Near West Side neighborhood a few blocks west of United Center, police said.

In two separate incidents, a man used a shotgun to rob the drivers while a woman served lookout, according to a police alert.

The incidents occurred in the 200 block of South Leavitt Street at 9:30 p.m. Saturday and the 2300 block of West Madison Street at 8:15 p.m. Sunday.

Both incidents occurred on nights that United Center was holding events: a Chicago Bulls game on Saturday and a Chicago Blackhawks tilt on Sunday.

One suspect is described as a white man, 27 to 30 years old, 5-feet-7 to 6-feet tall, and 160 to 170 pounds.

The other is a white woman, 30 to 35 years old, 5-feet-2 and with black hair.

Anyone with information should call detectives at 312-747-8382.
