CHICAGO — A 27-year-old man died and two others were injured in a South Shore stabbing incident Friday night, police said.
Few details are available about the incident that occurred on the second floor of a residential building in the 7800 block of South Bennett Avenue, said Officer Jose Estrada, a police spokesman.
Officers arrived about 7:15 p.m. to the building and found three people stabbed, including a 27-year-old man found dead at the scene.
He was identified as Jaquinton Walker, of the 6100 block of South Laflin Street in Englewood, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
A 41-year-old man was found stabbed in his chest and legs, Estrada said. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, and is in critical condition.
A 32-year-old man was taken to Stroger Hospital where he is in stable condition.
The relationship between the men is unknown and no one is in custody.
