CHICAGO — A 17-year-old boy was shot in his right leg in South Deering Monday afternoon.
The teen was shot about 2:06 p.m. in the 9700 block of South Muskegon Avenue, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a police spokeswoman, citing preliminary information.
The teen was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and no further information was immediately available.
No one was in custody.
