CHICAGO — Two people were shot early Saturday morning, including a woman found wounded after a West Rogers Park gang fight, police said.

That incident occurred in the 6300 block of North Claremont Avenue when officers were alerted to shots fired about 2:25 a.m., said Officer Amina Greer, a police spokeswoman.

After police broke up a gang fight at the scene, a 25-year-old woman was found on the ground wounded.

She was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston where tests found she was shot in her head. Her condition had stabilized a few hours after the incident.

In Pilsen, a man was shot multiple times in his body in the 1600 block of West 21st Place about 3:45 a.m., Greer said.

He was taken in serious condition to Stroger Hospital.
