CHICAGO — Barbecue fans can expect some East Coast flavor from the Lincoln Park restaurant scene, according to reports from Eater Chicago.
Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, which originated in Syracuse, N.Y., will be coming to 923 W. Weed St. in spring 2015, Eater reported. Known for its barbecue sauces, Dinosaur Bar-B-Que published a cookbook with some its famous recipes in 2009.
Dinosaur Bar-B-Que was founded by John Stage in 1983 as a mobile concession stand for motorcycle gatherings before settling down and winning several awards for their barbecue, according to its website.
This would be the chain's first Midwest location. It has eight other locations in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
