CHICAGO — Green Line service was suspended this morning after the body of a man was discovered on the tracks near the Pulaski station, authorities said.
The body was discovered by CTA train operator, who saw it on the northbound tracks about 6:50 Saturday morning, said Catherine Hosinski, a CTA spokeswoman.
Power was shut down in both directions, and passengers were shuttled between the California and Madison stations before service resumed about 8:45, she said.
Police said the cause of death is unknown at this point. Area North detectives are investigating the death.
