CHICAGO — An 18-year-old man was shot and killed Saturday afternoon in New City, police said.
The man was shot multiple times in the 1700 block of West 46th Street about 12:40 p.m., police said. He was pronounced dead on the scene. The teen was identified as Michael Munoz, of the 6000 block of South Kolmar Avenue.
No one is in custody and Area Central detectives are investigating.
Also on Saturday, four people, including a 70-year-old man, were shot in separate incidents on the South Side.
