ROGERS PARK — A Rogers Park man was hit with drug charges after Evanston Police Department detectives busted him Wednesday with cocaine and cash, police said.

Daniel Palomares, 32, was arrested at his home early Wednesday in the 7400 block of North Oakley Avenue, police said.

Detectives confiscated 170 grams of cocaine and $2,000 in cash from Palomares' home, police said.

Palomares was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, according to police, and his bond was set at $90,000.

Palomares next court date is scheduled for 9 a.m. March 5 in Skokie.
