SOUTH DEERING — A man was grazed by a bullet Monday evening while sitting inside his home on the Far South Side, police said.

About 9:10 p.m., the man, 22, was sitting in the living room of an apartment in the 10500 block of South Oglesby Avenue when shots rang out and bullets broke through a window, said Officer Amina Greer, a police spokesman.

A bullet grazed the man's arm, police said, but the man later refused medical attention for his injury. No one was in custody early Tuesday in connection with the shooting, police said.
