ROSCOE VILLAGE — Parking will get a bit tighter in Roscoe Village on Tuesday when a film shoot closes off a segment of Hoyne Avenue to cars.

The restriction will be in effect on Hoyne, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., from Melrose Street (approximately 3230 north) to 100 feet south of Roscoe Street (approximately 3400 north), according to the office of Ald. Scott Waguespack (32nd).

Before you take the day off work for the chance to cozy up to the stars of "Chicago PD," take note that the filming is for a small commercial production.

"It's not one of the bigger things, but it's still exciting," said Betsey Grais of the Chicago Film Office.
