LAKEVIEW — A little bit of "The Office" will be stopping by Lakeview this month.

Actor and writer B.J. Novak will be holding an unofficial signing of his new book "One More Thing: Stories and Other Stories" at Unabridged Bookstore, 3251 N. Broadway, for about an hour on Feb. 25, said Stefan Moorehead, manager of the store.

Novak already is holding an official reading from the memoir at the Up Comedy Club at Second City, 230 W. North Ave., at 6 p.m. Feb. 24.

But the actor best known for his work on "The Office" wanted to add one more event to meet fans in the Midwest, and he asked Unabridged to host him, Moorehead said.

The Unabridged gathering is not an official event, so Novak will not be doing a reading — just signing books and meeting fans, Moorehead said.

He's expected to arrive at the bookstore around 12:30 p.m.

"Usually how these things work, they really block off a set of time, and they hold to that," Moorehead said. "Arrive early if you can."

"One More Thing" has been well reviewed as a funny collection of stories. Unabridged is selling the book for $24.95.
