Man Stabbed to Death in Englewood

CHICAGO — An Austin man was fatally stabbed in Englewood Friday morning, police said.

Police found the 69-year-old man stabbed in his chest in the 900 block of West 63rd Street at 10:10 a.m., said Officer Jose Estrada, a police spokesman.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 10:56 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

The victim was identified as Raymond Robinson, of the 1600 block of North Lotus Avenue, according to the Medical Examiner's office.

Area South detectives are investigating, and no one is in custody, police said.
