LINCOLN PARK — Lincoln Park's critically acclaimed Boka restaurant re-opened this week after two months of extensive renovations.

The restaurant, 1729 N. Halsted St., re-opened under the direction of new executive chef Lee Wolen.

Boka is the flagship restaurant by the Boka group, which includes Girl & the Goat, Little Goat, Perennial Virant, GT Fish & Oyster, Balena and the J. Parker.

"Our menu at Boka will focus on familiar ingredients, but hopefully with an unexpected twist," Wolen said. "A lot of our dishes incorporate ingredients that guests have eaten many times, but our use of different methods and textures make it something completely unique."

The restaurant closed down following New Year's Eve service for a remodeling and reopened Monday.
