Beverly Gas Station Robbed at Knifepoint, Police Looking for Two Suspects

CHICAGO — Police are looking for two men who robbed a Beverly cashier at knifepoint Monday, according to a police alert.

The incident occurred at 11 a.m. in a store in the 10300 block of South Western Avenue, police said. In an alert to constituents, Ald. Matt O'Shea (19th) it was the BP Amoco Gas Station that was robbed.

Armed with at least one knife, the duo told a cashier to empty the store's registers before running off with cash.

The first suspect is described as a black man 21-25 years old, 5-foot-11, 180 pounds with a mustache. He was wearing a blue Nike hoodie, gray sweatpants and white sneakers.

The other robber is described as a black man 21-25 years old, 5-foot-6 and 130 pounds.
