CHICAGO — A woman was found with several stab wounds inside a building that was part of a multiple structure fire in Brighton Park, police said.
Firefighters responded to a fire in the 2500 block of West 45th Place around 1:50 p.m. Friday and found a stabbed women inside one of the burning buildings. The woman had been stabbed multiple times and was dead on the scene, said Officer Veejay Zala, a police spokesman.
The woman was identified as Lucy Wrobel, 51, of the 2500 block of West 45th Place, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
Police continue to investigate.
