CHICAGO — Two men were shot in separate shootings in Little Village and West Englewood Sunday night.

About 10 p.m., a 25-year-old man was walking on a sidewalk in the 7000 block of South Hermitage Avenue when he felt pain, said Janel Sedevic, a police spokeswoman.

Shot in his left foot, the man was sent to Holy Cross Hospital where he is in "stable" condition.

In Little Village, a 21-year-old man was shot in his ankle about 7:15 p.m. while in the 1900 block of South California Avenue, near the Pink Line station, Sedevic said.

He is in good condition after making his way to Mount Sinai Hospital.
