Things to Do in Lincoln Park and Old Town on Monday

 Zanies Comedy Night Club, 1548 N. Wells St., will feature one of its regular hosts, Michael Issac, in a night of music and comedy. Joining him on stage this time are comedians Mel Novit and Nikki Brayden. The music will come from Nathan Cotter and guest "Comedian DJ" Calvin Evans. Buy a $10 ticket  here , but plan for the two drink minimum as well.

CHICAGO — Lincoln Park and Old Town have a lot to offer this Monday, from music to comedy to even something for the kids.

Comedy Night

Head to The Second City, 1616 N. Wells St., to watch the storied comedy club's show "The Best of The Second City," featuring hilarious sketches, songs and improvisations. Tickets cost $17 and can be bought here.

Music Mondays

Several Lincoln Park institutions hold regular events, and this Monday is no different. At 10 p.m., the Tonic Room, 2447 N. Halsted St., will feature Monday's Round Table Jam, a free event featuring funky sounds played their every week. Head to Delilah's, 2771 N. Lincoln Ave., for Punk Rock Monday with DJ Tim. Beer's available for a dollar, Jim Beam for $2 and the pool is free.

For the Kids

During the day, take the kids to The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, 2430 N. Cannon Drive and have them feed fish at 1 p.m. or watch a butterfly release at 2 p.m.
