Teens Wanted for Armed Robberies in Grand Boulevard, Washington Park

CHICAGO — Police have issued a community alert after at least two people were robbed at gunpoint in Grand Boulevard and Washington Park.

In each incident, a pair of armed young men walked up to the victim, pulled a gun and demanded property. The attacks occurred:

• In the 4900 block of South Wabash Avenue around 2:20 p.m. Jan. 14

• And in the 5100 block of South Wabash Avenue about 10:10 p.m. Jan. 23.

The suspects are black teenagers, about 16- to 19-years old, police said. Victims estimate the teens are between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-11 and weigh 130 to 160 pounds.
