CHICAGO — Thursday will bring both snow, and yes, slightly above-freezing temperatures.

After the second polar vortex of this January passed over Chicago earlier this week, Thursday's weather could also bring one inch of new snow accumulation and also a high temperature of 33 degrees, according to National Weather Service forecasts.

Snow is expected after noon, though snow is expected to blow around throughout the day.

Wind gusts could reach as high as 40 miles per hour.
