Logan Square Burglaries Prompt Community Alert

CHICAGO — Police are warning Logan Square residents after 10 home burglaries occurred in the last month.

The burglars force open rear windows and steal property from homes, police said.

The incidents occurred in the:

2400 block of North Spaulding Avenue on Dec. 24 between 11 a.m. and 10:15 p.m.

3100 block of North St. Louis Avenue on Dec. 29 at 10 p.m.

3200 block of West Fullerton Avenue on Dec. 27 between 7 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

2800 block of North Christiana Street on Dec. 30 between 8 a.m. and 5:45 p.m.

2300 block of North Albany Avenue on Jan. 2 between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.

3000 block of West Logan Boulevard on Jan. 9 between 12:30 p.m and 2:59 p.m.

3300 block of West Belmont Avenue on Jan. 13 between 2 pm. and 2:59 p.m.

3000 block of North Albany Avenue on  Jan. 15 between 8:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.

2200 block of North Sawyer Avenue on Jan. 16 between 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Police have no description of the suspects, and ask anyone with information to call Area North detectives at 312-744-8263.
