NOBLE SQUARE — Two men robbed a Chicago Avenue gallery at gunpoint Wednesday night and made off with several items including cash, merchandise and an iPhone, according to Chicago police.

The robbery occurred around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Made Gallery, 1430 W. Chicago Ave. in Noble Square.

An iPhone, about $370 in cash from a register and $1,200 worth of inventory including sneakers were taken in the robbery, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a police spokeswoman.

The alleged robbers were described as black, between 30 and 35 years old, both wearing black jackets.

One of the men was armed with a handgun and stood around 6 foot, 2 inches tall, weighing about 250 pounds.

The second alleged robber was around 5 foot, 8 inches tall and weighed about 160 pounds. He was also wearing "orange gym shoes" Sedevic said.
