CHICAGO — Two men were rescued from Lake Michigan after they fell in near Adler Planetarium Friday night.

Both men, 25, were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where they are in good condition after the 11 p.m. incident in the 900 block of East Solidarity Drive, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a police spokeswoman.

After the first man was rescued by a bystander, the second man was able to climb out of the water after a police officer took off his gunbelt and extended it to the man.
