CHICAGO — Cook County Sheriff's Police found drugs, guns and about $60,000 in cash while executing a search warrant on the West Side Thursday.
The Cook County Sheriff's Gang Unit was serving a search warrant on a home on Menard Avenue when officers found six kilograms of suspected cocaine, six firearms and the cash, said Sheriff Tom Dart in a statement.
The guns included four assault weapons and two handguns.
Officers arrested Lawrence Gallion, 33, and charged him with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and ulawful use of a weapon.
Gallion appeared in court Saturday, and was ordered held on $75,000 bond.
