CHICAGO — The city unveiled an online tracker that shows where city crews have patched potholes over the preceding seven days.

The tool was made public one week after Mayor Rahm Emanuel ordered crews to begin filling potholes all week long, including weekends.

City crews fixed 625,000 potholes in 2013, according the mayor's office.

Drivers whose cars get damaged by a pothole can send their repair bill to City Hall and possibly get reimbursed at least some of the cost. More details are here.
