MAYFAIR — The North Mayfair Improvement Association is living up to its name, asking for community input on ways to make the neighborhood better.

Having recently elected a new slate of board members, the association is hosting a brainstorming session on Saturday, with the goal of determining priorities to pursue 2014.

Participants in the meeting will be asked for feedback on a number of issues including infrastructure, schools, parks, public safety and green living.

An initial plan will then be presented at the association's next meeting on Feb. 5.

Saturday's brainstorming session is set for 10 a.m. to noon, Mayfair Community Church, 5020 N. Pulaski Road, Salvation Army - rear building.
