CHATHAM — Two men were injured in a fire in the city's Chatham neighborhood Monday night.

About 10:15 p.m. Monday, a fire broke out in a two-story building in the 700 block of East 92nd Street, Chicago Fire Department officials said.

The fire was coming in through the roof of the building, Fire Department spokesman Will Knight said.

Two men were found at the scene and taken to Trinity Hospital for treatment. One man was in serious-to-critical condition, and the other was found in fair-to-serious condition, Knight said.

Details about the men's injuries or the cause of the fire were not available, Knight said.

Firefighters put out the blaze about 10:40 p.m.
