CHICAGO — Police issued a community alert Sunday after a string of robberies since last month in which a man displays a hand gun before robbing local businesses.
Three robberies occurred Dec. 18, 2013, and Jan. 10 on the 1900 block of West Chicago Avenue, the 800 block of North Damen Avenue and the 2500 block of West Chicago Avenue between the hours of 5 and 7 p.m.
The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man, 20-30 years old, with a black skull cap, black trench coat and black pants.
