CHICAGO — Authorities are looking for two suspects who were spotted stealing from a Norwood Park garage before leading authorities on a car chase Saturday morning, police said.

The incident ended with the two suspects running away after crashing into someone's lawn and police recovering the car and items taken from the garage, said Officer Michael Sullivan, a police spokesman.

Officers witnessed the two people loading items into a car from a garage in the 7500 block of West Myrtle Avenue about 2:30 a.m., Sullivan said.

The suspects eventually saw the cops, rushed into their car and drove onto the Kennedy Expressway.

The car exited the expressway a short while later before the driver crashed it in the 6700 block of West Ardmore Avenue.

No one has been arrested yet.
