LAKEVIEW — Still harboring your Christmas tree?

Leave it out Saturday — Ald. Tom Tunney (44th) is picking up trees for recycling as part of his annual tradition.

Tunney will be picking up trees east of Clark, and company Mahogany Builders, 3823 N. Southport Ave., will pick up trees west of Clark, according to Tunney staffer Sougata Deb.

Leave your tree on the parkway — the grass between the sidewalk and the street — for pick-up.

The alderman has been picking up trees for recycling since he entered office in 2003, Deb said.

Residents may also drop off trees in the Cubs Green Lot at 1126 W. Grace St. from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Just remember to take off all the trimmings.
