CHICAGO — An 18-year-old Greater Grand Crossing man was killed Sunday morning when the car he was riding in crashed in South Chicago, police said.
Darius Dudley, of the 7700 block of South Greenwood Avenue, was killed when the vehicle crashed in the 8100 block of South South Chicago Avenue about 4:30 a.m., said Officer Daniel O'Brien, a police spokesman.
Both Dudley and the 17-year-old driver were taken to Stroger Hospital, where Dudley was pronounced dead at 6:24 a.m.
The driver was in custody, O'Brien said. No more information was available.
